Another Perfect Weekend in Périgord

It's late April here in the Périgord and spring is in full swing.  Just over a month ago, I arrived to iffy temperatures - still needed a fire every night - and bare trees.  Now, the leaves are bursting, the blooms are coming on stage, and folks are already gearing up to complain about the heat.

The Saturday market is in full swing.  And socializing is on the calendar.

And then I arrived and the magical evening really began.

Delightful company, amazing food, beautiful setting, and a relaxed, easy pace to the evening.  What could be better?

It's hard not to just drink it all in
