Ode to a Twingo
My first, and almost certainly last, poem.
Little Twingo, you delight
You're useful, practical
and a beautiful sight.
A powder blue auto I've never had.
We gazed upon you and were instantly glad.
Here she is we said, the one for us.
No need to negotiate, no reason to fuss.
We brought you home to neighbors' grins
Welcome home, what a win!
And so around the Perigord you take me.
To cities medieval, and the Med Sea.
A spot of color, a reliable space
So glad you're home, in this ancient place
Your BFF, Deirdre Grace
