Friends

I am so fortunate to count several truly exceptional friends in my life in the US.  I am grateful for their company and support and am beyond thrilled that I have had the chance to share the Perigord with at least a few of them already.  They are such gifts!

But, as we go through life, it is also important to make new friends, who help us see the world through new eyes. And the older we get, the harder it becomes to do that.

So, I am also grateful for my new Belvès friends, and thrilled to have them gather in my living and dining room on the last warm sunny day of the fall.  We had good food, fine wine, a roaring fire in the new wood stove, and each others' company to propel us into the dreary winter months.  

So blessed.
